Constructed for Albert Leslie Scott (1859–1951). He owned and operated a grocery store and also served as the U.S. Postmaster for Dickson from 1897 to 1924. By 1920, he subdivided the house and rented rooms to tourists traveling along SR-1.

This was built in 1910 when Dickson County was proporous as a Railroad town. This house was purchased in 1923 by B.B. Pete and Anna Andrews from Albert Reeves. It remained their home until their deaths in 1950 and 1982 respectively.
