LEXIE FREEMAN WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PREACHERS IN THE CHAPEL. THE BUILDING STOPPED BEING USED AS A CHURCH IN THE LATE 1940'S, DUE TO LACK OF ATTENDANCE. THE YOUNG'S PURCHASED THE BUIDING.
