A one room log cabin built fo blacks, Almory Kirkpatrick bought it in 1874, gave $2000 gold for cabin and 200 acres, moved in in August 1875:another room added on in 1902 or 1904. Willed to Martha Kirkpatrick 1916: current owner has lived here for 93 yrs
