THE POLES WERE DRIVEN BY T.V.A. IN 1946. T.V.A. HELPED WITH CONSTRUCTION BECAUSE IT IS LOCATED IN THE CUMBERLAND RIVER FLOOD BASIN. SEVERAL IN THE COUNTY HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE SAME WAY.
