ONLY BRIDGE OF STEEL IN HOUSTON COUNTY. MOVED TO PRESENT LOCATION FROM SOME OTHER SITE IN 1946. STRUCTURE ITSELF IS MUCH OLDER. RE- PLACED ANOTHER BRIDGE REMOVED BY TVA BECAUSE IT WAS IN A TVA FLOOD CONTROL AREA.
