DANIEL BAIN MARRIED GRANDDAUGHTER OF ANDREW KERR WHICH HAD A NORTH CAROLINA GRANT FOR THE LAND AND THEY BUILT A HOME(BAINS). THE LAND TURNED OUT NOT TO BELONG TO ANDREW KERR, SO THEY LOST IT IN COURT. DANIEL BAIN HAD TO BUY THE LAND IN 1844 FOR $407.
