ASBURY "CHICK" AND ANNIE TURPIN HAD THIS HOUSE BUILT AND LIVED HERE UNTIL HE DIED. SHE WENT TO A NURSING HOME. THE HOUSE STOOD EMPTY FOR YEARS UNTIL JOHN SPARKS BOUGHT IT IN 1978.
