THE CHURCH WAS ORGANIZED IN 1881, BUT USED THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AS A MEETING PLACE UNITL THE MEMBERSHIP INCREASED. IN THREE YEARS THEY RECEIVED A FULL CHARTER AND BUILT THE PRESENT VICTORIAN STYLED CHAPEL IN 1886.
