B. BRASWELL RAN A GRIST MILL RIGHT BELOW THE HOUSE. HE DIED AND LEFT IT TO THE WIDOW. SHE LIVED HERE FOR A WHILE AND WHEN SHE DIED HERSHALL PETTY BOUGHT THE ESTATE AT A SALE. SOLON PETTY HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF THE PLACE.
