B. BARNES BUILT THE HOUSE WHEN HE GOT BACK FROM THE CIVIL WAR. HE FARMED AND RAISED HIS FAMILY HERE. THE HOUSE AND 120 ACRES WAS LEFT TO THE HEIRS WHEN HE DIED IN 1917. THE HOUSE AND LAND WAS BOUGHT BY MR. BARN'S GRANDSON, WHO IS THE CURRENT OWNER.
