NEAR TURNER CEMETARY

NINE CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS BURIED NEAR THE HOUSE. IT IS CONSTRUCTED OF YELLOW POPLAR LOGS, WITH HARD CHIPPED ROCKS FOR FOUNDATION. SOME ROCKS IN THE CHIMNEY ARE 4'LONG AND 12"WIDE, AND 12"THICK ALSO HAND CHIPPED.
