Originally 1-story built 1874. Original owner h.g howe. 2nd story added dr. Samuel tyndell wilson, maryville college pres.(1901-1930) bought in 1887. Remodelled in 1930.wilson's daughter & son-in-law (clyde murray) sold to granville mcorton in 1947.
