Observation Knob Park is a Sullivan County–operated lakefront park on South Holston Lake. Camping, boat launch, picnic shelters, and a swimming area. The high point overlooks the dam and the upper end of the reservoir, a quiet alternative to the busier Cherokee NF sites.
